Our curriculum is based on the Victorian Curriculum. We use this curriculum to create our whole school teaching and learning documents and each student’s achievement and progress is assessed, mapped and reported against this curriculum. Wherever possible we base lessons on the Gradual Release of Responsibility Model. This allows for scaffolded instruction where the learning is demonstrated to students and then they are supported with practising the skill before having a go independently. This allows all students to achieve success in their learning.
